Oxford Community Action (OCA)  OCA work to support and champion racially minoritised communities to tackle and overcome structural barriers within Oxfordshire.  

The Challenge:

OCA have asked us to support them with a research project looking into the impact of the cost-of-living crisis on remittances sent by those living in Oxford to family members in the wider world.

Remittances represent an often-hidden burden on many communities and for many are a critical source of financial support. The cost of living crisis has had a pronounced impact on many people and this research offers the opportunity to look into an essential issue that has both local and global implications.
