Our approach integrates a 17-week training programme with a 4-week placement. The training equips students with the transferrable skills needed to lead transformative change in relation to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Our placements provide them with the opportunity to apply those skills to collaborate directly with organisations to deliver real-world change.
Our curriculum covers:
- Ethics — How do we know what is right?
Values, character, purpose
- Evidence — How do we know what works?
Observation, evaluation, experimentation
- Engagement — How do we deliver impactful change?
Communication, collaboration, delivery
The Oxford SDG Impact Lab offers a unique blend of academic research skills and practical skills, such as project management and leadership, which allows its fellows to make tangible real-world impacts. I’m really excited to put these elements into practice
