Unlock Your Potential: Oxford SDG Impact Lab Discovery Day

If you’re interested in learning more about the work of the University’s SDG Impact Lab and want to be among the first to hear about new programmes and initiatives for the 2024-2025 academic year, then don’t miss your chance to attend our first-ever Lab Discovery Day.

Oxford University staff and students are all welcome to drop into Cohen Quad at Exeter College on 24th October from 2-5 pm, for an inspiring afternoon dedicated to exploring how the Lab is driving real-world impact through interdisciplinary collaboration.

Find out how you can apply to join the next cohort of SDG Lab Fellows and explore previous projects that have turned academic research into actionable solutions. Meet and engage directly with Lab Fellows and team members to gain insights into their experiences, the challenges they’ve faced, and the successes achieved while working on SDG-focused initiatives.

The event will feature a panel discussion chaired by Lab co-founder Professor Alexander Betts, alongside Dr Laurence Wainwright, Emma Coles, and former Lab Fellow Reema Mohamed. Together, they’ll share their perspectives on equipping the next generation with the skills needed to tackle local and global challenges facing people and the planet today.

Key announcements will also be made during the day, including an exclusive preview of the projects and partnerships planned for 2025. The afternoon will wrap up with an informal networking session, offering the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, ask questions, share ideas, and explore how you can be part of a growing community dedicated to creating a sustainable future.

Spaces are limited, so don’t miss out—reserve your place now and take the next step towards making an impact.
