From sporting to sustainability champion -  in conversation with Nico Rosberg’ 

Nico Rosberg - 2016 Formula One World Champion - is a Sustainability Entrepreneur and Start-up Investor. Guided by his passion to inspire communities and accelerate green innovation, he co-founded the Greentech Festival, a global platform for changemakers and green technologies.

He is an advocate for sustainable mobility and invests in innovative solutions across different industries to drive positive change for the benefit of both the environment and future generations.

Earlier this year he launched his charity Rosberg Philanthropies, announcing his partnership with the University of Oxford‘s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Impact Lab.

As part of this collaboration, Rosberg Philanthropies sponsors Oxford graduate students to conduct research related to environmental and climate change issues, tackling big challenges such as carbon capture, ocean plastic pollution and alternative fuels.

In his visit to the University of Oxford, Nico will talk about his personal journey from sport to business and discuss the role of sport to inspire and drive positive change for people and the planet.
