Lady Mariéme Jamme – Senior Advisor on the SDGs
The Oxford University SDG Impact Lab is delighted to announce that Lady Mariéme Jamme has joined as Senior Advisor on the SDGs.
Lady Mariéme Jamme is an award-winning technologist and pioneer in system change. She is a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum. In September 2017, she won the Innovation Award at the Global Goals Awards from Bill and Melinda Gates and UNICEF, as a Goalkeeper to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by teaching 1 million women and girls how to code by 2030.
We are excited for this opportunity to work with Lady Mariéme to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and ensure that the Global Goals are front and centre of the Lab’s work.
Lady Mariéme will bring a range of expertise to the Lab. She is currently supporting businesses and communities to embed the SDGs in their strategies. Her core work is to make sure the SDGs collide with humanity, empathy, and, most notably, with evidence and research.
We share her vision and look forward to driving awareness and impactful actions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.
